Flour Sack Flats will feature views of the
Mississippi River and a two story parking
ramp covered by a "green roof" which
will be an amenity that cab used by Fliur
Sack residents.
The Flour Sack Flats name comes from the
area’s legendary milling past. The project’s
sales and design center is showcased in one
of the city’s original Union Railroad storage
warehouses. During the milling era, sacks
of flour were stored and shipped from the
warehouse.
