The Rock Island Lofts are located on the
corner of 1st St. N and 4th Ave N in the heart
of the Warehouse District. This is a newly
constructed building that was finished in
2004. The developers did a nice job with the
building, as it seems to blend in well with
surrounding buildings and give the area a
bit more character.
Directly across the street from the Rock
Island Lofts are a dry cleaners, a flower
shop and convenience store and deli. Babalu
is down the road on Washington about a mile
to the west and Origami is to the east about
a 1/2 miles. Downtown is with walking distance,
but probably not when the temps are less than
30 degrees.
